riding school in helsinkiKeskustalli riding school is fully approved by the Equestrian Federation of Finland. The school is owned and operated by the same family since established 1929.
Keskustalli has a long tradition in horsemanship being the oldest riding school in the country. The headteacher and director of the school is Mrs Maija Pakarinen. We are located as part of the Ruskeasuo riding centre and fitness park surrounded by the Central Park of Helsinki all levels from children to adultsWe cater for children ( >6yrs) and adults from complete beginners to advanced level. Our lessons are given in groups based on each rider's age, skills and objectives.
The weekly riding lesson should be committed for the full season (Aug-Dec or Jan-May). teaching in englishAll our instructors are able to give riding lessons also in English. We always do our very best to provide the same learning experience for our non Finnish speaking riders.
excellent facilitiesThe winter season riding lessons are held in our superb heated indoor arena. From spring to halfway autumn we have our lessons on a large outdoor arena located in the beautiful central park atmosphere. At our disposal is the 4 km riding path network for hacks in the central park, starting right outside our yard! We have large paddocks for our horses and ponies to enjoy daily with each other! |

well schooled quality horses and poniesOur horses and ponies are carefully selected providing a range of sizes, types and temperaments to suit all, from total beginners to the more experienced rider.
experienced riding instructorsThe riding lessons are conducted by professional instructors. They all have solid experience on horsemanship and teaching riders of different ages and skills.
Our riding instructors have also the required first aid qualifications. this is what we offer!

insurance for riding activitiesThe riding school does not insure the riders in Finland. Please, ask us for further instructions how to acquire the Green Card or the membership of a local horse riding club to insure a rider.
